Brief info about ERIN-IJESA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

ERIN-IJESA DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION aimed at promoting the development of the locality and focusing on tourism and development is a new initiative by the Akinla of Erin-Ijesa, HRM Oba Engr (Dr) Isaac Adeyeba Ayeni, Okin Oloro II, with a vision to promote tourism and the living standards of the people of Erin-Ijesa.

The focus of this initiative will also be on the upliftment of the rural areas and speeding up all development projects in the region, thus enhance the living standards for its people.

Erin Ijesa (Olumirin) is a seven step waterfall in Osun state Nigeria, The awe-inspiring falls, also known as Erin-Ijesha Waterfalls is an assemblage of seven distinct cascades located on the south western slopes of the lush Effon Ridge, in Erin-Ijesha town, Osun state Nigeria.

The gigantic Ridge constitutes a conspicuous eye-catcher for every traveler along the Ilesa-Akure expressway, as it towers into the distant skyline, forming a spectacular backrest for the sleepy towns of Erin-Oke, Erin-Ijesha and Erinmo.

It’s believed by people of Erin-Ijesa believe that the waterfalls exude from a big pot located at the top of the ridge.
